Mariemont is a planned community village in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. Founded in the 1920's by Mary Emery, Mariemont exhibits English architecture from Norman to classic Georgian style. Parks abound throughout the village, including the Concourse on Miami Bluff Drive and Bell Tower Park that offers chime concerts on Sundays throughout the summer months. The village square serves as the community center with red brick Tudor buildings, including the Mariemont Inn.
Mariemont also boasts one of the few elected Town Criers remaining in North America, with Hank Kleindfelt leading it. With its landscaped lawns and grounds, thoughtful approach to commercial zoning, and attention to aesthetic detail, Mariemont is exceptional as one of the few villages in America to be registered on the National List of Historic Places. On March 29, 2007 Mariemont was designated a National Historic Landmark.
